Sheldon Lake State Park

Originally from Oregon, Hannah Buschert began her career in parks and natural resource management by working for Oregon State Parks, AmeriCorps, and conducting several scientific research project for the state and federal governments. Hannah then started with Texas Parks and Wildlife Department in 2015, having worked at Bentsen-Rio Grande Valley SP for 1.5 years before moving to Sheldon Lake State Park and Environmental Learning Center as lead interpreter and volunteer coordinator for almost 3 years. She received a BS in Natural Resource Management from Oregon State University and is currently working on her master’s from North Carolina State University in Parks, Recreation, Tourism, and Sport Management. Hannah has a passion for connecting others with our natural resources to build stewardship through education and volunteerism.
