Michael Stamm – Leader of Tomorrow Award Recipient from Rotary Club of HumbleRotary Club of Humble awarded High School Senior Michael Stamm with the Leader of Tomorrow award at their March 8 luncheon.
At a young age Michael became involved in different activities, but Boy Scouts is what shaped him the most. “Boy scouts introduced me to my desire to help out my community and how to set a positive example for my peers.” States Michael. Michael belies that Boy Scout set the direction of his life for the next ten years. He has a constant need to help those around me. Michael states that “one of my earliest memories helping others was assisting in the cleanup of my neighborhood after Hurricane Rita hit my home town of Lake Charles, LA.” “I also enjoy a good adventure.“ Michael’s love of the camping trips provided him opportunities to be with his family and friends.
