Chancellor of San Jacinto Community College - New Generation Park Campus

Our Summer Creek Satellite Club is excited to present to you Dr. Brenda Hellyer at our next meeting Tuesday November 12th 8:00 am.  
 

Dr. Hellyer has been the chancellor of San Jacinto Community College since 2009.  SJCC is Texas’ eighth largest community college with roughly 45,000 students spread among four campuses and several extension centers.  Earlier this year SJCC broke ground on their new campus in Generation Park. Classes plan to begin in the Fall of next year. 
 

Dr. Hellyer has a long and impressive bio full of awards, recognition and accomplishments. As I read her list of community activities, I couldn’t help but think this person must be a Rotarian.  And sure enough she is a fellow Rotarian and Paul Harris Fellowship award recipient representing the mighty Pasadena Rotary Club. 
 

We invite you to come out next Tuesday to not only meet Dr. Hellyer and hear about the amazing new campus being built in our backyard, but come on out and support your Summer Creek Satellite Club.
