Rotary International is one of the largest International service organization, having more than 35,000 clubs in over 200 countries and more than 1.2 million members, addressing today’s challenges including illiteracy, disease, poverty, lack of clean water and environmental concerns.
The object of Rotary is to encourage & foster the ideal of service as a basis of... worthy enterprise. Rotarians all around the globe use the “Rotary 4-Way Test” to see if a planned action is compatible with the Rotarian Spirit. It is still seen as a standard for ethics in Business Management.
The 4 Way Test considers the following questions in respect to thinking, saying or doing.
Is it the Truth?
Is it fair to all concerned?
Will it build goodwill and better friendships?
Will it be beneficial to all concerned?
In order to carry out its service programs, Rotary is structured in Club, District and International level.
Club members work locally and partner on International Projects that address today’s most pressing Humanitarian Challenges. The impact our members make, takes shape at Rotary Club meetings and activities. These gatherings give you the chance to : Change Lives : You’ll have the opportunity to discuss and act upon your community’s greatest needs.
Connect with other passionate people: Rotary Club meetings are a place to strengthen connections with friends and form meaningful relationships that last a lifetime.
Invest in yourself: Clubs offer workshops, conferences, guest speakers, and more – all aimed at helping you grow personally and professionally.
